Ingrediente pentru cartofi caramel:
500 g cartofi, 250 g zahar, 40 g unt, sare, piper

Preparare cartofi caramel

Se curata cartofii de coaja, se spala si se taie felii groase de 2-3 cm. Apoi se pun la fiert timp de 10 minute, pana ce sunt fierti dar nu se sfarama. Intr-o tigae, se topeste zaharul in care se adauga din cand in cand cate putin unt. Se amesteca pana devine o pasta. Feliile de cartofi scurse de apa, se pun in pasta de caramel si se intorc pe toate partile, apoi se pun intr-un castron. Se adauga sare si piper. Cartofii se servesc fierbinti cu un vas cu apa in care se scufunda cartofii caramelizati inainte de a-i manca.
